Ebay had almost become a victim of their own success; millions of products uploaded everyday how the heck do you sift through to find the very best bits? With the launch of Ebay Collections suddenly it all becomes that bit easier. They’ve invited a team of tastemakers and curators to get the ball rolling and create some collections that people can be inspired by and find the kinds of things you never knew Ebay would sell. There are a huge number of stores, both big brands and independent sellers who have their own ebay stores covering every interest, hobby or practical need. I’ve been asked to create some collections for the initial launch and heres a little taste of my favourites.
Coffee if part of my daily ritual so I had to create a collection of Caffeine Hits.
I also have a bit of a thing for stationary and I’ve now found quite a few interesting stores on Ebay to feed my addiction. Heres a selection from my Stationery Addict collection
Theres also the sensible side to my collections – in an ideal world I’d like to have a place for everything so I created a collection for Storage ideas; and the only plastic box allowed into the collection was a Lego one!
Do also check out a some of the other collections from a few fellow blogger friends they’re a great source of inspiration and ideas.
Ateliertally has some wonderful modernist to post-modernis collections. His Memphis Group collection is a wonderful trip back to a colourful time in design history – and you can buy a piece of it!
Deardesigners collection All things Scandi features some incredibly covetable products both old and new.
And I really love Fabric of My Life’s practical but fun Frequent Flyer Collection
I think you can now get the sense of how you can use Ebay collections; it’s been fascinating to see everyone’s different approach.
