About me – Jenny Voyce
From studying Art & Design history at University, I had to continue my passion for Design in my work. I went off to London and began my career as a Retail Buyer for a number retailers including Hobbs,Liberty and Debenhams.
An early innovator of e-tailing back in 2000 I developed a website Nubold.com selling and promoting new designers. Sadly it was too soon to sell Design online! Roll on 13 years and now its moving!
I’ve worked on the re-development of the shops for the Southbank Centre and produced merchandise for Hayward Gallery Exhibitions; working with artists such as Anthony Gormley and Jeremy Deller to Lichtenstein and Lartigue.
I was a buying and ecommerce consultant at Dezeen for the initial set up of the Dezeen Watch Store and pop-up shop. During 2012 I helped set up Llustre.com a members only design. Within my role as Head of Buying I worked on the initial brand development and strategy and brought on the key suppliers. I worked on making Llustre have a real point of difference from an ever crowded flash sale model. Amazingly within only 12 weeks of trading Llustre.com was bought by one of the worlds fastest growing e-commerce websites Fab.com
I’m currently working with start-ups and design writing.
If you have an interesting story you’d like me to feature on here please get in touch. I’m happy to discuss sponsorship’s and ad’s but I don’t accept posts written by other people/companies.
